PURPOSE: To make available to low and moderate income elderly, handicapped and families, safe, standard dwellings that are conducive to good living, both socially and economically. We wish to cooperate with all agencies within our community to provide a more cohesive attitude in working with and providing service to tenants in low-income housing.
WHO OVERSEES THE MADISON HOUSING AUTHORITY?
Madison Housing & Redevelopment Commission oversees the Authority. The Commission is composed of five residents who volunteer their time. Commissioners serve five year terms. The members attend regular monthly meetings on the third Thursday of the month as well as other meetings as needed.
